Geocache Description:

Congratulations to ChrisBTSC for the FTF. Found it in the dark!! The Wiisters, Wilflower and Linda#1 couldn't have been far behind.

There was a fire here on the 4th of July in 2009. The helicopters dumping water on it flew right over our house and were so low that it seemed like we could almost reach up and touch them. It made for quite a spectacular 4th of July celebration. The area is recovering quite well but evidence of the fire is still very visible. The final approach to this cache is steep and rocky so be careful. The cache is a short distance off of the bike path and there is a trail to get there so there is no need to bushwhack. Shouldn't have to worry about Poison Oak but watch out for Rattle Snakes.
