spm_steve: It is with regret that I am having to discontinue my geocache.

Sadly it's hidey-hole has become too worn through use to safely conceal the canister. I have failed to find a suitable nearby location to move it to.

Thank-you to all who have visited 'Angel Valley', I'm pleased to have shown you a part of Brockenhurst that may otherwise have gone missed.

Geocache Description:

A well hidden, micro/nano sized cache placed on a public footpath alongside the river. Known locally as 'Angel Valley'.

This is my first cache hide, and is placed on a pathway I walk regularly when I want a little peace from the busy village centre.
The area is known by villagers as 'Angel Valley' and is a short walk along the riverbank between the two village fords.
There are kissing gates at either end of the pathway so bikes/buggies/wheelchairs will be unable to retrieve the cache.
Part of the walk is fenced from the river, however much of it is open riverbank. Children should be well supervised because of this.
The cache has been placed towards the Rhinefield Road end of the path, which is a boardwalk above the riverbank.
It is a micro/nano cleverly (i hope) hidden. You do not need to leave the path to find the cache.
Please take care to rehide the container as you found it, and to respect the privacy of those whose gardens border the path.
The gravel section of pathway can become muddy in winter, though if approached via the boardwalk this won't be an issue.

A pen will be required to sign the log.
