Geocache Description:

About a third of a mile from the parking lot at Canada Vista Park. The cache is located along the beautiful Tijeras Creek trail which is very popular among mountain bikers and hikers. The cache is located near a bit of history.

Right off the Tijeras Creek trail, we noticed a very large animal water trough that is dated 7-21-34. The trough is bisected by barbed wire denoting the boundary of land currently owned by The Toll Roads. Definitely no cattle grazing here anymore.

Park in the parking lot at Canada Vista Park and walk toward the dog park. Before you get to the entrance, take a left, walk through the gate, then walk through an open hole in the fence up toward your right. Take a left to get down to the Tijeras Creek trail. Alternatively, you can park at Mesa Linda Park and hike down to Tijeras Creek, which you'll need to cross to get to the trail.

You're looking for a match stick container which has been camoflauged. Log only - bring a pen.

Congratulations to Tissa1020 & Foxhound for the FTF!!
