Our first cache!
TeamGAWK member SonW (Whitsun) suggested geocaching as a family activity a number of years ago. A GPS unit came up on the "now we can afford it" list last year, for his birthday. We've had a great caching year, getting out more than we ever have, finding beautiful places we never knew existed, and meeting great people who have helped us learn how to do this and have been generally wonderful (and fun!).
This cache is pretty straightforward; you've all done this before. It's placed in sight of our church, and also (almost) in sight of the river we love so much. Keep your eye out for traffic, but that shouldn't be an issue. Contains just a log and pencil.

Update - 3/8/12 - Replaced cache container with one that should last longer. Original container now has the record for shortest time/fewest visits before breaking. Be careful out there!
