Geocache Description:

Quick cache and dash.
If you come at the weekend when the weather is good you may well see some decent up and coming tennis stars on your way past.

Easy path to the cache from Queenhill road, but watch out for 'leftovers' from inconsiderate dog walkers.

This small open space was given to the Corporation in 1936 by the local Developer Richard Costain Ltd. as a play space for younger children.  The space was given as a memorial to William Percy Costain who was predominantly connected with the development of Selsdon as a residential district.
The area had previously been open space and the 1933 map shows a miniature golf course, with a pavilion and a tennis courts on the site.

From this small section of greenery (the 'Queenhill Road Playspace') there is a footpath across the golf course to Chroham Hurst woods, where you can pick up the first part of the Chroham Hurst Climb multi (GCZ8JR).
Alternatively you are within walking distance of the littleheath woods series:
Badgers mount (GC1WG1J)
Squirrel heights (GC1X6MW)
Buggy bottom (GC1WY68)
Froggy hollow (GC1VYZ9)
