Simply Paul: Hard to believe over a month has passed since this fun meet, but the calendar doesn't lie and all TBs and Geocoins have been booked out, so it's time to archive it.

We're planning to make a photo book of the best pictures from the Geolympix programme, so please send your best shots of this event, any other Geolympix event, challenge or cache to team@geolympix.com and you could win a copy. Thanks!

Another sizzling hot day in Oxfordshire, so where better than to have a rest and chat than in the shady surroundings of a pub? It's what summer caching was made for! This and nettle rash [;)]

A small but happy event - huge thanks to everyone who attended and I hope you all had a good time. The following walk in the grounds of B' palace was memorable and several caches were located; always a bonus!

For anyone after an 11-in-11 souvenir for the previous Sunday, Groundspeak have confirmed they won't be releasing one, so here's one I prepared earlier: http://img.geocaching.com/cache/large/6ada25ef-4f7d-4fbc-bcfb-dc9c341ac4d6.jpg - You can add it to your profile by adapting the HTML seen here: http://www.geolympix.com/how.html

Thanks again and hope to see you all again for Geolympix 2013 or 2014 (location/s TBC)

Geocache Description:

A Geolympix side event on the Wednesday following the big day for cachers to meet, swap caching travel items and generally enjoy some lovely surroundings close to a handy footpath entrance to the grounds of beautiful Blenheim Palace.

Where: The Duke of Marlborough, Woodleys, north of Woodstock, OX20 1HT. 01993 811460 .

When: From 11am to 1pm on Wednesday July 25th 2012. Food served from 12pm.

What: Another chance to get together with cachers to swap caching tales and travel items, with the option of walking to Blenhiem palace after the meet, to make use of the footpaths crossing this amazing estate's land. But there's no need to come hiking, the event is open to all cachers. GeoKids are welcome at this friendly venue but Geodogs outside only please.

Who: All cachers will be made very welcome, but please contact the pub in advance with your food order (if any) in as much detail as you can. They're on 01993 811460 or sales@dukeofmarlborough.co.uk and please mention Geocaching or the Geolympix. Thank you! New to caching or cache meets? You'll be made extra welcome.

Why: Because after all the fun of the last few days, you might just fancy a bit of a sit down, followed by an optional, relaxing walk in beautiful surroundings - plus it's free via footpaths.

How: Lots of parking on site. It's on a busy bus route too..
