 LA ALBERCA
El nombre viene del árabe Al Birka y el significado es "depósito de agua", Le llegan aguas de diferentes manantiales. Usada para regar por una conducción subterránea huertos de la parte baja de la ciudad, para baños, cuando baja el nivel puede verse una escalera de cantería con barandilla de la misma piedra. Se cree que es romana por la construcción inicial, pudo ser un baño abierto. 
En época árabe fue un baño público.
Dimensiones: 13 mts profundidad y ancho 12 5 mts.
Los nativos de La Villa (busca “Otto de la Villa” en Facebook) usaban el agua tanto para la casa como para el aseo personal, y en verano como baño público, costumbre que se ha llegado hasta nuestros días.
Al lado de la Alberca hay una torre circular, restos de una construcción visigoda, en el edificio fortaleza llamada la Casa de la Alberca, se cree pudo acoger a los Caballeros de una Orden en Trujillo, siglo XII, que luego fundaran la del Alcántara.

Hacer la vuelta tarda unas dos o tres horas y hay que asegurarse llegar entre 8:00 y 22:00 hora local.
El cache final, un tupper mediano, esta en un parque publico con permiso de la guarda y solamente se puede acceder a ello en el arriba mencionado horario.
Si vienen en vehiculo, convendra aparcarlo cerca de la plaza mayor o en el parking de pago cerca de la vieja N-V.
