Geocache Description:

A cache with a view on the old harbour of Heraklion and the Koules fortress, along the road by the sea.

The cache is located along the structure of the old city's castle walls, in an area named the 7 Cleavers
(Επτά Μπαλτάδες-Epta Baltades in Greek).

According to a story in the past there were 7 muslims one located at each arch of the structure. Each one held a cleaver by which they killed christians while the place was under siege by the turks.
