Geocache Description:


Such a sad story! Our friends live across the higway, they kept seeing a dog, they went over to see what was going on and the dog had been dumped by someone and it's companion had been hit. The female would not leave the dead one. It snuggled with it and wouldn't leave it to eat. Our friends started taking it food. They were afraid if they took it home it would smell it's companion and go across the highway and get hit. So they took it to the animal shelter and paid them alot so it would not be put down. 3 days later she was adopted!! I feel like she deserves her own cache!
