This cache was put out in conjunction with Alvadore's 100th anniversary. The 'kids' of Alvadore will be watching this one from the library and will be adding more 'treasurers' as needed. Alvadore will be hosting many community events over the course of the year, below is a listing of the upcoming community events.

May 12th & 13th – Mother’s Day BBQ at Decker Nursery
May 12th - Mother’s Day Bazaar at Alvadore Church-rent a space
May 19th – Quilt Show and Old Car Show
June 23rd – Community WIDE Garage Sale-each house
July 21st – Movie Night – back of church 9:30PM, and ice cream sell at Orchard Point
August 25th – Ice Cream sell at Orchard Point
August ? – Pack the time capsule
Sept. 8th & 9th – Breakfast at Fire Station, Street Fair, Time Capsule buried, Evening street dance, Cookbook sale, Pet Parade, History Walk, BBQ, Order History Book
Sept. 9th – 1912 church service at Alvadore Christian Church
Sept. 22nd – Tea Party at the church – 1 PM
All these events are free and are open to anyone who wishes to attend.
