Geocache Description:

You will need to solve a puzzle to find the true coordinates. The cache is not at the published coordinates.

It is inspired by a puzzle cache from another Nelson cacher that Mrs SoBad struggled with for some time. The frustration of not seeing the key to the solution was eventually outweighed by the Ah ha moment when it clicked. We hope you feel the same with this puzzle.

James Cook

Captain Cook was born 30 miles from Whitby. The Captain Cook Museum is in a 17th century house on Whitby's harbour, where the young James Cook lodged as an apprentice. The Cook Statue is a seven foot six inch high bronze figure. Dracula, Abbey, fishing, moors, military history, rock, trains are other things that Whitby is famous for. Use Google Earth to make a visit to N 54 29.437 W 000 36.926 and check out the area. You will then find you are virtually there.

Cache is at S 41 23. _ _ _ E 173 06. _ _ _
