This is the fourth placement of the "Hang Ten" level in the Agony of Defeet series. Each placement at this level, is footwear that corresponds to the sport being played at the sports venue that it is close to. There is a tool nearby, for those who have a "hang up" about climbing. Edson Arantes do Nascimento (better known to the world as Pele), was born on October 21, 1940. Pele is recognized as one of the greatest soccer (football) players of all time. In 1989, the International Olympic Committee, named Pele the "athlete of the century". In his professional career, he scored 760 goals, 541 in league championships, making him the top scorer of all time. Playing in 1363 games, he scored 1281 goals. He is the only soccer player to be part of three world cup-winning teams. The Unity Christian girls and boys soccer teams, have become very well known, also, for their excellent play. The girls team has won state championships in 2005,2006,2007,2008,2009, and 2010. They were runner-up in 2002,2004 and 2011. Up until their loss to Forest Hills Central last year, they had been unbeaten in 98 consecutive games, over a span of three and a half years!!! The boys team has also done very well. They won state championships in 2007 and 2009, and were the runner-up in 1982,1984, and 2005! Congratulations to these two fine Unity Christian teams!! Make is your GOAL to KICK it in gear, and HEAD on over here to take a SHOT at this one. For members of the Unity teams, it is just a short CORNER SHOT to the nearest field. There will be the usual "gold" coin for the FTF, which can be exchanged for the new (soon to be famous!!),not!, Dutch grandpa pathtag, when they become available.
