What is the 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash?

The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash is a virtual trail that is hosted by the Wicomico County Convention and Visitor's Association and the Wicomico County Tourism Department that takes cachers to twenty-two exciting locations across Wicomico County. The twenty land locations include museums, parks, wooded trails, historical areas, and other points of interest. Two boat-only caches will also be featured in the Dash, so that cachers can experience some of Wicomico's beautiful waterways. The Dash works on a passport system and the first 250 cachers who find 18 of the 22 caches will earn a trackable GeoCoin! The Dash is designed to introduce people to some of Wicomico County's "Hidden Treasures", and can easily be completed in one day.
What is the 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash Celebration Event?

The 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash Celebration Event is a free, family-friendly, pet-friendly party celebrating the 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash trail. This event is open to the public and participation in the 2012 Wicomico Geocache Dash is not required! Come on out and meet other cachers from near and far and share some of your Wicomico Geocache Dash adventure stories! Close to 400 people attended last year's Celebration Event! Our goal this year is to have 500 attendees so that this event can be classified as a Mega-Event! Wicomico County is proud to host this event, along with a Friday evening Pre-Dash Event - GC3EKZM and a Saturday morning Launch Event - GC3E2XJ. Please make plans to join us for this fun filled weekend!
