Geocache Description:

A cache near here was recently archived, and I'm opposed to allowing a usable spot to remain vacant. You can come by either of two routes. You can come down Dark Hollow Rd. from Almshouse Rd. and park on the grass alongside the road above where the creek crosses the road before the powerline crossing. Then you ascend the gradient and follow the powerline to the crest of the distant hill. Or, you can park in the park's parking lot off Mill Rd. on the south side of the creek. Then follow the official dirt path on the right, near the closed bridge. When I was there, most of this path was muddy, and some of it was flooded. Follow this path to the powerline, and follow the powerline to the crest of the distant hill. I've used both ways in the last two weeks.

Once at the crest of the hill, go north, following the dirt path and then the dirt road. When approaching the farm buildings off to the right, follow the trail just inside the woods on the left. Continue on to the cache. The game trail avoids the worst of the prickers. The prickers are especially thick at the edge of the cornfield, but none are in the immediate area of the cache.

The cache contains a log, pencil and a prize for FTF to help with those night caches. Removing the prize will make room for a few small trinkets.

You will have to wander a meaningful distance from parking to the cache, but for those who like the woods, it's worth it.

Naturally, I'm happy to provide a hint.
