“Believe it or not”, geocachers Ian-and–Penny suggested this reserve as a spot to break the drive from Bacchus Marsh to Geelong almost six years ago.
The cache was archived when Ian & Penny set off on a nomadic trail. To encourage “travellers” old & new to rest easy on route, we have placed a new cache in this park.
As you seek the cache you will no doubt notice the interesting little ford and old cobblestone road which was once the river crossing on the Geelong - Bacchus Marsh road.
NOTE: If you are visiting during the warmer months please take care. As the attributes indicate, snakes are present in the area.
