Welcome to Upatoi, Georgia! This is a quiet location that may have a muggle issue from time to time.
Upatoi is an unincorporated community within Muscogee County, Georgia. Columbus Georgia and Muscogee County are consolidated under a single government and there are several communities within Muscogee County that, while they don’t have a government of their own, have distinctive identities. Upatoi is one of the larger of those communities. Both the Upatoi Community and Upatoi Creek that meanders through this portion of Muscogee County get their name from the Upatoi Band of the Creek Indians who inhabited the area at the time Muscogee County was founded in 1825.
