Finally, a CITO event in Daphne, Al. May 12th 2012. We will meet at Walmart in Daphne around 8:00AM!. The place we are cleaning up is near Wally's Habitat GC10DA6 and Jubilee Dam GCW87V.
We will be separating up into two groups. One for Wally's Habitat and the second for Jubilee Dam. I am working out deals with Walmart and the city of Daphne to get as much help as possible. Equipment needed for this event will include work boots or tough tennis shoes (no open toed shoes). I don't plan on doing too much "hard work" here, but feel free if you want to. I am trying to get Walmart to donate drinks and ice for the event. We have Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts joining in as well. This event will help you round out your Geocache profile needed for the Well Rounded Cacher (Fizzy Challenge)GC1K275 Zaxby's is offering a lunch discount for volunteers as well. The City of Daphne is bringing a grill so we can cook hotdogs. Feel free to bring anything else you would like to grill. Items to bring should include Bug Spray and Sunscreen. If you can bring a rake it would be helpful. We will be trodding through the brush here so please be careful and dress accordingly.
