Geocache Description:

Small Cache next to a Great Beach

The Cache name reflects that while this area is normally dry, at times of high tides and winds, it may be overwashed with surf. Having seen this first hand, I can vouch for the disconcerting feeling of surf rushing DOWNHILL toward you. Be Aware.

Cape Meares is a sleepy little berg, named after Commander John Meares, a navigator, explorer, and maritime fur trader, best known for his role in the Nootka Crisis, which brought Britain and Spain to the brink of war.

This should be a quick park and grab for some. Others might have a bit of trouble.

You may need a tool to extract and sign this cache.

While you are here, check out the Meares Sea Monster!
