The Visitor Centre is open 10:00 to 18:00 every day when the ospreys are at the nest. There's plenty of parking on site but when the Centre is closed the main gate is locked. There is still pedestrian access though through a pair of litch gates across the railway.
When placed the cache had all the usual gubbins and we have released the Glaslyn Ospreys Travel Bug to begin its adventures. It should be an easy find and although there are stone walls nearby you won't find it there!
In the UK the Ospreys' main stronghold is in Scotland with outposts in Cumbria and Rutland. We, in Wales, are lucky to have at least two breeding pairs and the Glaslyn Ospreys have been returning for eight years.
The male will often return first with the female arriving a few days later. They will spend the summer here and, hopefully, see their chicks fledge before heading south again in August or September.

Hope you enjoy the cache and your visit.
