Welcome to the neighborhood. This is one of a few caches we've placed in the Flats area of Winchester. This cache is mainly log only, but can hold small trade items. You will need to bring a writing instrument.
Having cached for a while, it was time to start hiding some. My chief lieutenant of caching, (otherwise known as kid #1), pointed out the lack of caches around our neighborhood. These are his stomping grounds where he likes to walk, greet neighbors and say hello to dogs. In some regards he’s the dog whisperer & knows all of them by name, sound of bark & what type of treats they snack on. We decided to begin hiding caches along the “doggie route” and introduce you to the “mean streets of Winchester.”
The area is known as The Flats and it’s true to its name. The cache is in the open and requires some stealth to avoid walkers, bikers, runners, nosy neighbors and all sorts of normal and customary neighborhood activity. The cache can be a park and grab.
You need to find the remanants of the Vault. It has since been broken apart, so the cache has been moved to a less conspicious placement. When done - please return the cache as founds and make sure the it is sealed tightly. Thx.
