A small quarry in the heart of Middleboro. Walnut Street.
There used to be a cache out here in this conservation area, and then it was archived. I had forgotten about this place, and when it came to mind, I checked and found out that the old cache had been archived. So, MT Pool and I wanted to bring you out to this cool little spot. We did not put the cache anywhere near where the old cache was. We did check, though, to make sure the old cache wasn't geotrash in the woods, and we couldn't find it.
The trail does take you there, even though for a few hundred feet, it feels like it won't. It's only about a five minute walk, so stick with the trail rather than bushwack in from the street.
It's an ammo box.
