Hidden in Salt Springs Provincial Park - lots of parking at the entrance to the park
We were out with the 1st Pictou County Cubs, Beavers and Scout for a hike in Salt Springs Provincial Park to set up a few caches and to find a couple of the old caches in the park. While we were out on the trails, we set up a number of caches to introduce our beavers to geocaching and complete some of the requirements for the cubs for their "Geocaching Badge".
After we were finished we built a fire and roasted Hot Dogs and Marshmallows.
This was the third cache that we set up today.
Cache is a very small-sized screw-top container. This cache will be more difficult to find than normal.
Please make sure that you return the cache to the location where it was found.
Cache was placed by our Cubs and Beavers and our Scout with help from Scouter Jim, Scouter Lori and the parents that were with us.

NOTE: The original location for the cache container is now ashes after park maintenance work. The cache container had been moved prior to the demise by fire of the old stump. The cache is now relocated to a tree near-by which is not yet a stump. It is still a reach for the cache container and well hidden - it may even be more challenging to find than the first location, at least you no longer have to stand on another log to reach the cache.
