BMC#1 - Rabbit Roots Traditional Cache

beatnik: Well this cache has been active for a little over 5 years. No one seems to visit it anymore. Most people have already found it. The new cachers just bypass it for the easy PNG Micros. Not too mention the varmits have been chewing the lid off again! So I'm archiving it to make way for another new cache.

After finding my 2000th cache today I pulled the old cache. It was still there although someone had moved it from the proper spot. Not sure why people just can't put stuff back where they found it. Had fun sitting on the rocks and reading back through the ages. Some real history in those pages. Lots of logs from old school cachers that we don't hear much from anymore.

Geocache Description:

This is #1 of 6 in the Beatnik Mini-Cache Challenge series. They are placed in small green or black plastic containers. These containers are army surplus decontamination or first aid kits. See the picture below for what you are looking for. Bring very small items for this one. Cache-in & Trash-out if you can.

This cache is hidden in a popular rock-climbing and hiking area. You don't need to be much of a climber to locate it though. Be warned that the photos may be spoilers for this cache. I have only included them as hints due to the difficulty of the size of the cache. The name of the cache should be your first vague hint. The spoiler hints will not yield much help but you can e-mail me for more help.

I have 3 rules for all of my mini-caches.
1. First of all, HAVE FUN. Be safe, you may want to wear gloves.
2. This cache is supposed to be hard. Please hide it back very well.
3. Make sure the lid "snaps" back on to keep it watertight. Don't worry if you crush the logbook.
