Moose Meadow Brook was once used as a source of power for several businesses including a saw mill and a grist mill. Moore's Whip Factory also operated along this brook. All businesses were displaced when the city took over the land in 1873 to build the two reservoirs. Moore's Whip Factory closed and the family later opened the Mountain House north of the upper reservoir, an inn specializing in serving up fresh Montgomery air to it's guests in the summertime. To find this cache it would be best to first go down to the brook and begin your search from there. Cache is a bison tube in the woods ;-)
