To the west of the Westfield Watershed lies Tekoa Mountain Wildlife Management Area. To the south- just south of Tekoa Reservoir- lies Grace A. Robson State Wildlife Sanctuary. It is not uncommon to see lots of wildlife while exploring these areas. Some animals native to the area include:
American beaver (more on that later...), black bear, coyote, grey fox, muskrat, otter, woodchuck, white-tailed deer, and many other little woodland critters
cache is a bison tube hidden in the woods ;-)
