Geocache Description:

***The cache is not at the posted coordinates***

F2F goes to rperchen - congrats.

This cache is not located in the cemetery - but on the outside edge. The hours are posted sunrise to sunset. Please respect those who rest there.

This cache is to honor the memory of Leroy Wells. Leroy was pretty much tied to his house during his final years – literally. As long as I knew him – he was tied to an oxygen tube – a victim of emphysema. He had yards of O2 lines all over his house – so he could walk around and tinker here and there. What was wonderful about Leroy – was his can do spirit, and his positive outlook on life. I never heard him complain about his illness – not once. His smile would just light up a room.

He had a tiny workshop attached to the back of his home, and during the warmer months he would make wooden toys to give to his loved ones. Leroy’s toys were found in many a home across the area – he made pull behinds, puzzles, all kinds of wooden toys. All of my children had Grandpa Leroy toys growing up, and still treasure them to this day.

The waypoint I’m including will take you to Leroy’s marker. I’ve placed a few wooden toys there. Here’s the deal – if you take one – leave one for others to share and enjoy. He would have loved that!

This is an offset or projection waypoint cache. The posted coordinates will take you to the final resting place of Leroy Wells. From this marker - you will may gather the information needed to calculate the GZ.

The distance is in feet. Add the day of his birth + 151.5. So - Day of birth + 151.5=distance in feet.

The bearing is Leroy Wells age when he died plus 126. So - Age + 126= bearing in degrees.

Bring your own pen.
