Early forms of Business Cards were known as Visiting cards or “Visite Biletes”. The earliest forms of visiting cards were indeed playing cards. Visitors wrote their signatures, promissory notes and other messages on the cards. As time went by, these visiting cards further developed into Business Cards. These first visiting cards appeared in France during the reign of Louis XIV, the King of France — “Le Roi Soleil”. These Visite Biletes were for introducing their owners in all their glory. It was not until the 19th Century that the "Business Card" as we know it today was adopted by the United States. To claim this Geocache, Please draw a Visite Biletes or Business Card in the logbook or place an actual Business Card into the Geocache the (hence the name).
