Gypsy Field Lane Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Gypsy Field Lane is the former route of the A40 running from Ross-on-Wye to Gloucester and is situated in the village of The Lea. Access to the lane is good and probably suitable for wheelchairs in good weather.
The lane was so called as Gypsies used to camp close by when they were doing seasonal work on local farms. The cache is a small, black specimen tube and only contains a small log sheet and you will need to bring a pen to sign. Please replace so that muggles are not attracted to it's hiding place as this is a busy dog walking route amongst other things. Thanks to the Parish Council for allowing this cache to be placed.
