From School to Uni Traditional Cache

This cache is situated on part of the Celandine Route running between Hillingdon Village conservation area and the Sports Fields of Brunel University.
Take a moment before you enter the footpath to look at the beautiful mansion house of Bishopshalt School, a Grade III listed building, built in 1858.
Other notable buildings in the village are the 16th century Red Lion Hotel. Charles I is said to have stopped here in 1646 whilst fleeing Oxford during the Civil War. Opposite is the lovely parish church of Hillingdon, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist.
