Path to nowhere? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

thisisace: As the cache area seems to be too overgrown to search for much of the year now, I think it's probably time to let this one go.
Thanks to everyone who came to visit this unusual map feature!

Geocache Description:

When I spotted this oddity on the OS map, I just had to put a cache there!

There's a footpath from Glinton going South and a parallel path from Werrington going North. They come close, but both randomly stop in the middle of a field.

I walked along the first path, just to see if there was any reason for its stopping: There isn't. As the picture below shows, there is literally nothing there! (My toolbox is at the Southern tip of the Glinton path.) For this reason, the cache is a short distance away, as I needed something to help to hide it!

IMPORTANT: Although the path appears to start from the main road, please do not park here.
Instead, please use the Parking waypoint on the edge of Glinton (behind Clare Lodge) and walk down the track towards the main road, crossing very carefully!
