Super Highway Man Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This hide will bring you to a plaque dedicated to General Casimir Pulaski.
He was a Revolutionary War hero and the Skyway behind you is named for him.
It was the nation's first "Super Highway" and it cut travel time between Newark and the Holland tunnel from 2 hours to *6 minutes (*in 1933, some may debate that now!). If you drive this road or planning on it, read more about it on-line.
Make sure to read about when there was no median and the center lane was called the "suicide lane".

The container is a cammoed, waterproof match holder.
The rating is a little harder because of the high traffic.
This is due to both the vehicular and pedestrian muggle traffic.
Be careful crossing the streets.
There are walk signals and crosswalks but be aware!
Use extreme stealth. Parking is on street on JFK Blvd, east of Beacon Ave.
May be wheel chair accessible, but there is a small patch of uneven grass that must be crossed.
Congrats to APMcC for FTF!!
