4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

On our journey to the North of this country, the Allied Prankster Captain acquired a doctor to help with the scurvy and other normal pirate ailments. The crew were a little sceptical when they were told his name, Dr. Omod Nuttier .

But after a few successful treatments the doctor gain the respect of the Allied Pranksters crew, but his methods were a little bizarre! He cured the Captain's carbuncle by applying a poultice using a combination of soil, mud, cellulose, saliva, and faeces.

Dr. Nuttier was always trying to leave messages to the muggles.

Dr. Nuttier was a clever man and was able to leave a note, while ashore with a little help from a few crew members.

The area is a historic in that it once housed a water powered mill nearby, some 100 years ago.
