Geocache Description:

According to Webster, ultimate is defined as the best or most extreme of its kind.

You will not find the cache at the posted coordinates. Instead, if you choose to go there, you will find yourself in the middle of a cool new bridge with a pretty spectacular view.

I realize I probably come off sounding like a troublemaking pompous braggart when I describe this puzzle as ultimate, but it’s only a teaser designed to grab your attention. Now that you have read this far, please continue.

I know encoding methods aren’t copyrightable, and I’m not claiming to have invented this one, but I have cobbled together a rather atypical puzzle that will bring you to my cache. If you feel you are ready for this challenge, you are invited to decipher the code and locate GZ. To demonstrate that I am not utterly without compassion, a link to GeoCheck has been included. Good luck!

Once you have determined exactly where it is you need to go, you will be looking for a camouflaged L&L container about 1 litre in size, just large enough for some trade items, if you are so inclined. This is a multibranched area where several popular hiking trails meet so keep an eye out for muggles. I must have seen at least a dozen people and their dogs pass by while I was setting up the cache

KUDOS to Adroit Seeker for finding the solution to this fiendishly clever encyption! He has very nicely wrapped up FTS&F honours (First To Solve AND Find). MrGigabyte retains the FTF and Cuddlefish keeps the prized loonie from being 2TF. It is clear the code was a lot more difficult than I thought, but it is decipherable. For those of you who haven't found this one yet, remember your GPSr might behave unpredictably under the heavy tree cover once you leave the area near Pipeline Bridge.

I anticipate this puzzle will generate a lot of notes and emails from cachers who are either seeking assistance, or simply calling me names. Whatever the case, I welcome your feedback!
