This is one of my favorite places at Longview Lake. My daughter, wife and I used to come here and ride our bikes all over these trails when she was young, and I have many fond memories of laughter and her long blonde hair flying in the breeze.
I wanted to place a cache here to show you the view, and I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do. Take some time to enjoy, maybe feed the ducks. Feel the breeze, and listen to the lake speak - it will if you're still enough.
Cache is a small bison tube clearly marked, provided to me by my daughter Marissa as a birthday present, so I thought it would be appropriate for this hide! Was larger originally but the first container was apparently stolen-let's hope this one stays around longer!
If the gate is closed, it's a short hike on paved road until the last few yards. Should be handicapped accessible, but last few yards are in grass that is usually kept mowed.
