Geocache Description:

This cache was placed to go along with the "HIDES" of March III Event.

Nope, there isn't much tying the quote to the area or the trail . . . but it is a way to stay within the "HIDES" theme and give you a bit of info about this great trail all at the same time.

Take your own pencil or pen, and please replace the cache as you found it.

These caches are meant to have a bit of fun with some of the quotes from the Shakespearean Play, Julius Caesar.

The cache is located on a section of the old LE & N Railway line which is now a well used hiking and biking trail. Formerly known as the Lake Erie and Northern Railway.

The LE & N was among the first inter-urban electric railways to
be built. This 51 mile rail line linked Galt passenger service between Galt, Brantford, Simcoe and Port Dover became
operational in 1916.

In August 1950, service was reduced, and the last passenger train ran on April 23, 1955.

Parking is available along Conklin, about 80m from the trailhead.
