The survival of the Angry Birds is at stake. Dish out revenge on the green pigs who stole the Birds eggs. Use the unique destructive powers of the Angry Birds to lay waste to the pigs fortified castles.
Welcome to Tea Tree Soak. Rain falling on the sands of Young Husband Peninsula meets an impervious layer of calcrete and forms a freshwater lens under the dunes. The freshwater discharges into the Coorong Lagoon at many locations on the hind dunes of the Young Husband Peninsula. Tea Tree soak is one of the largest. Note the change in vegetation as you approach the soak. The soak location is a mecca for birds.
If the summer crossing is open you can drive a 2wd to within 1km from the cache. If the Tea Tree crossing is closed you will need a 4wd to drive 12km north from 42 mile crossing and then over the dunes to Tea Tree camp. And then walk the 1km to the cache. You are looking for a large ammo can hidden near some tea trees.
Special note: You MUST walk the final 1km to the cache. It is illegal to drive off track in the Coorong National Park.
If you are lucky at the cache you will also see,
A murder of crows.
A mob of emus.
A gaggle of geese.
A keen of kestrels.
A parliament of owls.
A collingwood of magpies.
A waggle of wagtails.
A wedge of swans.
A palaver of pelicans.
A quibble of quails.
A herd of curlew.
And a raft of ducks, somewhere somehow watching you.
