Krung Kasem Canal Walk ListKrung Kasem Canal Walk

Sapan Khao (White Bridge)

Sapan Khao is one of the five bridges across Phadung Krung Kasem canal. Initially constructed in 1903 the bridge has gone through a few changes. Before the age of the car the canal allowed for the market at this intersection and the one near by exist.

Sadly now the canal is all but a dead body of water that they try to keep moving and clear of weeds. Gone are all the boats that used to bring fresh produce from the larger markets along the Chao Praya River.

The community around here is old and and based around providing commerce to other areas.
