Geocache Description:

A Memorial Cache by StealthRT.

This simple multi-cache has a small puzzle component.
Please read the entire description before attempting this cache.

Hunting for this cache should only be done during daylight hours. No exceptions.

Freedom Memorial Flag

There are a variety of reasons that I enjoy caching. One of the reasons is because of all the memorials that I have found due to caching. This quick multicache will take you to two memorials that are very close in proximity yet actually reside in separate cities.

This is a two stage multi-cache. The first stage has no container. The second stage is a micro container with a log for you to sign. Please use stealth to complete this cache and to protect the integrity of the final container.

At the first stage please take the time to look around. Notice the stones in the walk toward the memorial. Notice the McCullough Eagle. Enjoy the memorial. Once you have taken it all in, take note of the date (day only) the memorial was dedicated.

Take that number and add it to the original west coordinates. These are the west coordinates for the final stage.

Now, take that same number and multiply it by 2.5. Subtract the result from the original north coordinates of this cache. These are the north coordinates for the final stage.

At the final stage you will find another memorial. The cache is located close by, however, the cache is NOT in the bushes or in the confines of the memorial itself. Please carefully replace any camouflage you find disguising the cache. If you need to wait out a muggle, there are benches at this memorial site. Please feel free to pay your respects while you are there.

I hope you enjoy this short multi-cache.

This final stage cache container came from larry739 & taekwonyoda’s MOTHER OF ALL CACHES (GC24Y2V).
