In Bread Lock Park, close by trail and field. Bread Lock Park is part of the Morris Canal. Museum is open to visitors every 2nd Sunday of the month.
Oh no! Not a micro in the woods!!
But this one is easy. Colorful too. And may or may not be in plain sight. Clue is important. Interestingly, hunting is not allowed in Bread Lock Park.
Close by trail and field.
To park, follow signs. Plenty of room.
Bread Lock Park has two entrances along rt 57, one on each side of OK Auto & 4WD. So if you miss the first, you can slow down and watch for the second. A sign on each one tells the way to go. You follow this road to behind a row of trees, then turn again toward the museum. Best to park along this straight stretch before the second row of trees.
Easiest, then, in my opinion, is to walk to the left of the museum building, then straight back where you can see the exercise trail, then follow it around the edge of the field. Vegetation has grown in badly around cache area, sorry to say. I checked on it today and found it in place but not easy to get at because of the viney vegetation.
The prettiest spot is around the bend from hidey spot, where you see a bridge. Trail that way goes alongside the crick. But either way is nice and brings you up to the canal where they join.
On returning by this clockwise circuit, a look at the outdoor exhibits is recommended.
Congrats to Althechemyst - ftf!!
