Micro on footpath near Landbeach village

This series of caches marks the Roman heritage of the Cambridge area. The track from Landbeach to Cambridge Regional college is known as Mere Way (Cambridge end) and Akeman Street (Landbeach end) and is a Roman road originally leading from Cambridge via Denver to the coast at Brancaster according to Wikipedia.

There are some interesting historical remains in Landbeach you might want to look at it you have the time; look at the web site link attached to this listing. Worts Meadow is a few hundred yards east from GZ on the road back to the centre of the village
