It can be muddy getting to this one.
The way this bridge is stored gives me hope that they will someday wake it up and put it to use on this property somewhere. I sure hate to see old bridges cut up for scrap. The Sand Creek Heritage Center and Museum is a constant work in progress. If you don't get the chance to go through the museum this trip it will be even better next time. If you can't be here during museum hours there are a lot of old machinery on display 24/7 and you can look in the windows of the buildings. There is also a war memorial near the front for fallen county service members of all wars.
