Geocaching is not always about the numbers or even the "smileys" but they are part of what Geocaching is all about. When one finds a cache, there is an icon attached to it. Different icons for different kinds of caches. The purpose of this challenge is to acquire some of these icons by finding the appropriate caches. To qualify for this challenge, you must find at least one of 5 different icons or cache types from the following list: Traditional, Multi, Virtual, Letterbox Hybrid, Event, Cache In Trash Out Event, Mega-Event, Unknown, Webcam, Earthcache, GPS Adventure Exhibit or Whereigo. Periodically, Geocaching.com has added cache types with new icons. As this happens, any of those new icons would also be part of your choices for this cache.

There are challenges of this type elsewhere in Oregon. We felt there needed to be a set here in the valley. You can also find this challenge at GC2KAZB and GC36RQW.

We have tried to be consistent with the cache container as well as the cache location on all of our DJBACH CHALLENGE caches. Once you’ve found one, the rest should be easy. The hard part is qualifying to log the cache.

BRING TWEEZERS. PLEASE DON’T REMOVE THE INSERT. Each of these bison tubes contains an insert with the log inside. This is to insure that the log remains dry. When the insert is taken and the log is placed directly into the bison tube, it gets wet and can’t be signed.
