Geocache Description:

This is part of a series of caches which run between Ballymena and Glenarm on the Antrim coast. The series contains a bonus cache. Clues, which are stuck to the inside of cache lids or written at top of the log sheet, need to be collected along the trail to enable you to get the Bonus Cache at the end. Not every container has a clue so watch out.

This cache is placed near the start of the 'National Cycle Route 97' which is also known as 'ECOS Trail'. This cycle route runs between ECOS centre in Ballymena and Glenarm. The beginning of this cycle route is also suitable for pedestrians and wheelchair users although cache is located just off the path way. This area is frequented by lots of dog walkers and visitors to the ECOS who are taking a stroll around ECOS's many pathways. There will also be lots of muggle cars whizzing by most of the time so stealth will be required. As you are close to the main road now please be extra careful with the kiddies and dogs. There is a small parking area nearby for about 3 cars or so. There is another cache along the short traffic free section of the cycle route which is within walking distance. Permission has been granted by the ECOS centre for the placement of these caches. There are also 2 other caches placed, as part of this ECOS Trail, on the joining local path which links you to Ballymena's Leisure centre car park. This cache contains only a log so please bring your own pen.
