Rats can fall from a five-story building and land on their feet. They can climb up brick walls, slither up the inside of a pipe only 1-1/2" in diameter, and can jump 2' high/4' across. They can swim for days on end, and can squeeze through a hole the size of a quarter.
In warm climates, a female rat can give birth every two months -- between 6 and 22 young each time! Better call the Pied Piper of Hamelin!
