Geocache Description:

Kohioawa Beach

A quick drive by cache on the way to Tauranga from Whakatane or vice a versa. This seems to be a popular spot for the motor homer's to park up and also a spot well used by surf caster's and the like and now also for Geocacher's! The cache will require a short walk from the car parking area, and there is an uncontrolled railway crossing that you will have to drive across to get to the carpark, please make sure you look both ways as it is used frequently by trains. Oh, and have fun making your way to the cache.
