El Valle
Das wasserreiche Barranco de Agaete, von den einheimischen kurz El Valle (das Tal) genannt, ist eines der schönsten auf Gran Canaria. Es erstreckt sich über 9 km Länge von der Nordwestküste bis zum 1000 m hohen Tamadaba-Massiv, reich verziert mit Avacados, Papayas, Mangos, Zitronen- und Orangenbäumen.
Einer der schönsten Wanderwege auf Gran Canaria führt sie von El Sao nach El Hornillo. Den Eingang zum Wanderweg finden sie am Wendeplatz El Sao am Ende der GC-231. Dort können Sie gut parken. Der Wanderweg ist ausgeschildert und führt sie auf einen recht steilen, felsigen Weg bis zum Cache. Nach ca. 10 min sind Sie am Ziel. Genießen Sie den Ausblick. Es lohnt sich.

El Valle
Barranco de Agaete, or like locals call it "El Valle" (The Valley), is one of the top destinations on Gran Canaria for a day trip. The beautiful landscape starts at Agaete and reaches to the Tamadaba-Massif which is around 1.000 m. Avocado, Papaya, Mango, lemon and orange trees can be found around.
One of the most beautiful hiking trail starts at El Sao and ends in El Hornillo. The entrance to the hiking trail is close to the parking place at the end of the GC-231. Go quite steeply up to the cache. Ten minutes work and you are at your destination. Not only enjoy finding the cache also the awesome view. It's worth it.
