MainePublisher: All geocache placements must have a responsive owner. The cache owner must be able to respond to issues that come up and to submit an "owner maintenance" log to remove the "needs maintenance" icon.

In this case, Groundspeak has sent an email to the cache owner with no response. The cache owner did not respond to any of the cachers hoping to find the cache and did not respond to the reviewer note so the cache is now archived.

The cache location is now open for any Geocacher to place a new cache, including the original cache owner.

Geocache Description:

I have set this cache for the simple reason of tracking Geo Visitors to our local trails. This will be the first of several of these type of Caches I will place. Why you ask? Because I keep getting asked by different City Officials about our trail visitors. They are curios as to where you folks are coming from. And what you like or dislike about the area trails. This is all in an effort to develop a great trail system and attract more visitors to this area.

Therefore, when you log your visit for this cache would you please sign the Caches Web Log starting with the City and State you are from. If you are an international visitor please start your log with the City and Country you are from. (Please note that you can sign the paper log as usual ) If you would like, please place some feed back about this trail if you happen to have any.

The cache is just large enough for a few small tradable items. BYOP there is a small Cache container for the First To Find. All I ask is that you place the container on this trail some where. There is a few other items in the cache to start it off with. Does anyone collect Red Rose Tea Figures?
