In the city center, at the outset of "Vitosha", stands the building of the Courthouse - one of the prominent buildings of the capital.

В центъра на София, в самото начало на бул."Витоша", се издига сградата на Съдебната палата - една от забележителните постройки на столицата.
До изграждането на съвременния столичен център Съдебната палата е най-големият граждански архитектурен паметник в България, който не губи и днес своята монументалност и предназначение. Строена между 1929 и 1940г., Софийската съдебна палата задоволява голямата и назряла нужда да се подслонят под един покрив всички съдилища в столицата, пръснати из частни, неподходящи сrpади и с това става истински храм на българското правосъдие. В архитектурно-строително отношение Софийската съдебна палата - дело изключително на български архитекти, инженери, майстори и работници, на наши строителни фирми и изrpадена почти само с местни материали представлява един от паметниците на българското строително изкуство, който добре свързва старото с новото в архитектурния образ на столицата.
Сградата на Съдебната палата в София има шест етажа, достъпни за външни посетители, с обща площ от 48 000 м². В нея се помещават петнадесет институции и организации със собствени звена за обслужване на гражданите. В сградата има 24 зали, библиотека и банков салон.
