Geocache Description:

Watch out for bugs!

Please bring your own pen!

This is one of 36 Girl Scout geocaches that will be placed in Nassau County representing the 36 Girl Scout Councils in the county.

The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award a girl can earn in Girl Scouting. For my own Gold Award, I thought it would be a great idea to use geocaching to showcase other girl's Gold Awards.

In 2009, Chelsea Powers worked through the Massapequa High School American Sign Language Club to teach young girls about deafness and sign language.

Please note that over the years, the requirements to earn this award have changed.
