Thank you to Rush Rutter for allowing us to adopt this cache.
This cache will bring you to Rochester Junction, a wonderful spot for a walk along some nice rails to trails.
The cache is placed on the official start of "March Madness"
I'm a big college basketball fan and have been taking off the Thursday and Friday at the start of the tournament for over a decade. I decided to take advantage of the time off and place a cache.
Rochester Junction has been one of my favorite spots to start from for an easy walk. The area has been seeing lots of improvements over the past year or so.
You are looking for a micro container, with no room for trade items or even a pen/pencil, so please be prepared with your own writing implement. On nice days, expect to have a fair amount of muggle traffic, since there are intersecting trails and parking nearby.
So what's the connection to this cache and basketball? When you get to location and see where it is hidden... Well let's just say "Let the madness begin!"
There is NO need to climb up onto or in the hiding spot.
Please hide the container back in the same spot that you find it.
Congrats to Peppermill 6-Pack, TazD and NYGeoMouse for the FTF
